Dancing Recall, Making Connections
Dancing Recall’s NHS award winning ‘Making Connections’ programme offers dance and movement classes for people living with dementia, memory loss problems and their care-givers. The classes are safe, structured and great fun, leading participants through dances that are designed to foster greater control and ease of movement, stimulate positive memories and a sense of belonging. A wide range of colourful equipment is used, alongside story and song to create a sense of familiarity and place. All these elements together create a joyful experience for everyone involved. Our aim is to help those affected by dementia, memory loss, and their carers, to lead more fulfilling and active lives.
