The Percy Hedley Foundation is an ambitious, entrepreneurial and innovative charitable business working in a person centred way to meet the needs of disabled people and their families.

We provide a range of high quality services and believe that as one Foundation we can achieve more than our individual services would achieve alone.

We are a registered charity that provides services for disabled people and their families. We have a Board of Trustees, that has overall responsibility for all aspects of the Charity, with the day-to-day management and operations delegated to staff who are led by the Chief Executive.

The Trustees' role is to set the long term strategy for the charity. This determines the kind of services the Foundation will provide. It is also responsible for ensuring the charity is run effectively, meets all compliance requirements and makes appropriate use of its money. Trustees are appointed for a 3 year period and are selected partly as a result of regular skills audits to ensure the right mix of skills on the Board. The senior management team are responsible for the operational leadership of the Foundation and information about each member of the team can be found here.

The Foundation is organised into several divisions and each service is run by a senior manager. Information about each service is in the main part of the website, but a chart showing how these services are organised can be found here.

Each year the Foundation provides an annual report. This follows a format required by the Charity Commission and is a summary of the operational and financial affairs of the charity. The latest report can be found here. An explanation of our current accounts can be found here

We also provide an Annual Review. This contains information about many of our activities and achievements and describes how we make a difference to the lives of many disabled people and their families. The latest version can be found here
