Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

During this coronavirus pandemic, Child Bereavement UK are aware that schools are operating very differently, they have created information sheets for the education sector to help them navigate a bereavement while many of their pupils and staff are working remotely. Child Bereavement UK are also preparing a free webinar for education professionals, bereavement within the school community with a focus on communication, particularly during the current coronavirus pandemic with many pupils and members of staff working remotely. They are also looking at how they can deliver some of their bereavement training for schools online in the near future. 

Within the education sector area of the website, under the Support and Information tab, there is information for Early Years, Primary and Secondary schools as well as Further/Higher Education. The national helpline 0800 02 888 40 and Live Chat via their website is available for professionals and families - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
