NADT Early Intervention Programme (EIP)
EIP is a professional, youth work led non-formal learning provision supporting young people with their emotional & social wellbeing throughout Cumbria. All learning takes place away from school outside the traditional classroom setting. We work with young people aged 9 to 16.
EIP focuses on emotional and soft skill development through experiential learning providing the opportunity for learning to take place naturally and spontaneously through conversations and practical tasks. This way of working allows the objectives to be specific to an individual’s input and changed or adapted accordingly. EIP provides space and time for young people to develop their own identity, believe in themselves and become accustomed and proud to make positive choices.
