Creative Horizons Cumbria

Creative Horizons Cumbria is a Social Enterprise, using the past and present creatively to enrich the lives of older people, including those with memory loss/dementia and their carers through a creative reminiscence programme of activities.  Some of the activities, based around the life stages, include poetry, art and craft, drama, role play, music and singing.  Life story work is also a key feature of what we do.  There is also the opportunity to be involved in projects and go on trips to interesting places.  The aim is to provide a fun, friendly and engaging environment for socialising and to promote well-being.  A team of trained volunteers support the programme.
