Dalton St Mary's CE Primary School Nursery Class
We are a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School in the Diocese of Carlisle and in an attempt to encapsulate the ethos, spirit and values of our school we have agreed the following:
- The school will provide a secure, caring, Christian community in which everyone can learn their own self-worth in an atmosphere of tolerance, mutual respect and co-operation.
- We intend the school to be a happy and enjoyable place to work, which will provide the opportunity for every child and adult to fulfil their potential in an attractive, well-resourced and stimulating environment.
- We will encourage children to become confident, independent learners who are able to contribute positively to the school and the community in which they live so that they can take their full place in society secure as individuals, whilst able to respect the needs and values of others.
Subject to availability parents of children who have a Government funded place in our Nursery (5 mornings or 5 afternoons) are able to request full days. Children who attend full days are required to bring a packed lunch from home or contact the School Office to arrange a cooked school meal. Nursery children are carefully supervised whilst eating their lunch in the main hall, 12:00 to 12:30, and then return to the Nursery building at 12:30 to begin their afternoon session. Additional sessions are charged at £10.00 per session and are payable in advance or on the morning of attendance.
