We have launched an initiative covering most of Cumbria called Youth Futures

We appreciate that for some young people school years can be challenging and emotionally difficult and we understand that no two young people are the same in terms of their learning and development.

Our Work and Learn Team will provide schools with pastoral support, extra-curricular activities and alternative provisions to promote young people’s personal and social development and enable them to have a voice, influence and place in their communities and society as a whole. Helping them to build resilience and character and giving them the confidence and life skills they need to live, learn, work and achieve.

Day Opportunities for North Cumbria - R2W and Susan's Farm in partnership

Right2Work, as part of the Oaklea Group, and in partnership with Susan’s Farm are now offering day opportunities to adults with learning and other disabilities in North Cumbria.

Together we will offer a supported learning environment, aiming to build resilience and character and give people the confidence and life skills they need to live, learn, work and achieve.

Learners will have the opportunity to rotate work and learning opportunities around the Farm using a nature-based curriculum delivered by qualified teachers and farming specialists; with 160 acres of grazed and farmed land, woodland, fruit and vegetable gardens and nature to inspire and engage.
