People First Youth Services

We offer youth activities to young people aged 10 to 18 years old who have a learning difficulty and/or autism. Our activities are based in the North and West of Cumbria. We are running two projects at the moment; Next Steps and Journeys.
Next Steps supports and prepares young people to transition from the pandemic back into everyday life, develop tech savvy skills and improve inclusion in their local community.
Journeys is primarily West-based and supports young people to identify a life journey they would like to embark on and support them to gain the skills and experience to achieve this. We aim to assist young people to become more self-aware, have increased emotional resilience and to be able to effectively express their views and make informed decisions.
No referral is needed to get involved with our activities, just get in touch through email or phone to get started.
You can also book online
Both projects are running in person and remote activities and workshops and can offer group and one-to-one support to young people and their families.
