William Howard School
William Howard School is committed to meeting the emotional, cultural and academic needs of all students. There is much written about supporting individuals to allow them to flourish and grow, with a focus on more than just their academic success and outcomes. While the focus at William Howard is upon high achievement and attainment it is also upon developing a fully rounded individual, someone who can make contributions at all levels of society.
William Howard School is a community that works hard to achieve the best possible outcomes for each and every one of its members; one where new ideas and approaches are welcomed and embraced. We are a learning organisation that constantly strives for improvement.
At William Howard we provide the opportunities that bind all the strands of learning together into life changing experiences, supporting the development of character and ethos. Whether it is taking part in the Tanzanian Link, being part of a Duke of Edinburgh expedition or representing their House in the Swimming Gala, those experiences provide learners with the richness of challenge that is at the heart of William Howard School.
The last few years have seen academic results go from strength to strength. As a school we recognise the importance of the continued focus on working towards and maintaining outstanding outcomes in all areas, but the focus on enrichment and experience will also remain a clear goal. Our ultimate aim is to be outstanding in all aspects of the operation so that every individual young person has the very best start in life.
