Community Pharmacy Minor Ailments Scheme - now available across Cumbria

Pharmacists across Cumbria can now give free advice and treatment to people registered with the Community Pharmacy Minor Ailment Scheme.

The scheme has been gradually rolled out across the county over the last two years with the Carlisle and Eden the latest areas to join.

The Minor Ailments Scheme encourages people, who are exempt from paying for prescriptions, to visit their local pharmacist for any over the counter medicines rather than making GP appointments.
