Scotby CofE Primary School

The school was founded on the present site in 1821 (as shown in a Trust Deed document), but the building now in use opened in 1963, with additional classrooms added in 1969, 1986, 1999 and 2004, providing accommodation for approximately 250 children. Recent investments have completely transformed the school and its facilities. There are five new classrooms, a new library, staff room, office / entrance hall and computer laboratory.

The school is now in the process of building a new assembly hall. A major investment in ICT, including dozens of personal computers, has provided the school with a superb pupil to PC ratio of 5:1. At Scotby Church of England School there is a strong emphasis on extra-curricular activities including netball, rugby, golf tuition and football. Our children are happy, confident, enthusiastic learners. They attain high standards and make good progress in all areas of learning.
