A 'one-stop shop' for access to Age UK West Cumbria services.  The Centre provides:-

• Advice and assessment for daily living, mobility and dementia aids and equipment
• A wide range of aids and equipment for purchase, laid out in simulated room settings to view & try before you buy
• A prescription handling service
• Wheelchair hire
• Demonstration of larger equipment (eg stairlifts, wash/dry toilets etc)
• New assistive technologies
• Specialist footwear and clothing
• Continence products
• Day Activities Suite offering full or half day sessions of supported activities for older people whose health or mobility problems make it difficult for them to get out and socialise
• Respite for carers
• Access to Age UK services in the community
• Community Activity Suite offering rooms for hire (Large flexible activity room suitable for a range of activities; Meeting/Training room; Small consultation/meeting room; Individual computer stations; Wifi; Kitchen; Disabled toilet facilities)
