Temple Sowerby Nursery is a small, friendly nursery offering a safe and stimulating environment for pre-school children from the age of two. We are located within Temple Sowerby School and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We work closely with the teaching staff to provide a smooth transition from nursery to reception and frequently join in activities with the school children. Recent events have included World Book Day and Red Nose Day, as well as an annual trip to the pantomime.

Being in the school means we have access to many facilities and outdoor play areas. We share a range of equipment to encourage creativity and physical development.

Our Nursery Leader is Jenny Kendal who has overall responsibility for the nursery. Working alongside Jenny are our Nursery Assistants Leslie Dickinson and Julie Cossins. All our staff are fully qualified with many years experience in child care.

Our sessions are currently running 9.00am – 12.00pm Monday – Friday.
