Temple Sowerby CofE Primary School

Temple Sowerby Church of England School is a small rural primary school in a long established but developing village. The school has a 'family feel' in which children, staff, parents and governors know each other and work well together. Visitors often comment on the happy atmosphere and the caring nature of the children for one another.

The school has all the advantages of a small, close, community, where we offer a rich, balanced and broad curriculum for our pupils. You can find all the useful information you need to know when sending your child to our school, including: school uniforms, school meals, staff and governor information and more. Pupils can also use the 'Learning Zone' feature of the website to access all their favourite websites for learning and educational games.

Local Offer

This school provides a broad and balanced curriculum for all children, which is differentiated to meet individual needs and abilities. We aim to build confidence, and all achievement - large or small - is celebrated. While attempting to help pupils overcome areas of weakness we will build on each individual's strengths in order that each pupil - whatever their ability - experiences success.
