Seaton St Paul's C of E Junior School
Seaton St Paul's C of E Junior School is a very special place where each and every child is an important part of our school family. Seaton’s children are our future and as such must be nurtured, cared for and educated to the highest standards. This is what we aim to achieve. We have very high standards of behaviour too, thus ensuring that your child is given the best possible opportunity to learn in a happy, safe and calm environment.
Your child’s happiness is at the heart of everything we do. A happy child will learn well and reach his or her true potential. Seaton St Paul's C of E Junior School is not just about subjects, although, of course these are a very important part of school.
Your child will be offered a wealth of opportunities and experiences during their time with us. We hope to prepare children well for their future education and give them an insight into the world around them.
We will always strive to solve any problems as quickly as possible and remember the earlier you alert us to your concerns, the sooner a solution will be found. Please help us to help you and your child.

Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) may have an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Children’s progress will be assessed throughout the four years at the school and at each stage parents will be kept informed of their child’s progress. Should it be decided that a child has additional needs, these will be met through a variety of intervention programmes.
Depending on the nature of the SEN, children will be taught in the classroom supported by a teaching assistant or on a one to one basis.
Specialist help may be considered appropriate for some children and the school will endeavour to obtain this, such as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
