Richmond Hill School Nursery Class

Early Years Foundation Stage is the first step into the education journey. The first part of this journey is made up of Nursery and Reception. In our School this journey can start when a child reaches their third birthday. At this point children are welcomed into our Foundation Unit. Children are entitled to a part-time free nursery place. We offer a 26 place nursery and can offer morning sessions. If our numbers rise above 26 then we do have the capacity to explore afternoon sessions. At present the free entitlement is no more than five half-day sessions.
We are proud of our purpose built nursery. Attending Nursery has many advantages, it introduces children to school life, familiarises them with their future surroundings and staff and provides them with a stimulating environment in which to develop their emotional and social skills.
