Children's Occupational Therapy Service
Who we are and what we do
The Children's Occupational Therapy Service helps children with physical difficulties take part in the everyday activities they want or need to do (we call these occupations) to lead a happy and full life.
We provide advice, support or intervention to children and young people aged 0 to 18 and their families, teachers and carers where there is a physical disability or impairment which impacts on their ability to take part in everyday life occupations.
We offer a tiered service which means we can offer the right support for you and your child at the right time. This might include helping you find and use advice online, supporting you to adapt activities to help your child take part, training or advising school or nursery staff to support your child, seeing your child for a block of group or 1:1 sessions or advising on equipment to help them take part at school or home.
