Petteril Bank Community School

We are a community school for children aged 3 to 11, currently we have 128 children in full time education and a further 17 children attending our nursery class part time. Our community school is at the heart of our community and is part of a vibrant site with other local amenities, including a community cafe, community centre, full time nursery and children’s centre.

Our aim is to provide children with an excellent education within a caring environment.  We feel it is important for children to be nurtured to enable all children to grow to understand their responsibilities in society and respect other people in society.  We provide a stimulating curriculum with a clear emphasis on key skills to enable all children to develop firm foundations for future learning opportunities.

We recognise that we can only achieve the best for your child by developing close co-operation between home and school.  Parents are children’s first educators and have an enormous influence on children’s learning in school.  Our staff are always available to talk to you about any aspects of your child’s development to ensure they have a successful primary education in our school.
