Cumbria Sure Start Children's Centres

Sure Start Children's Centre Statutory Guidance

The core purpose of Sure Start Children's Centres is to improve outcomes for young children and their families and to reduce inequalities between families.

Cumbria Sure Start Children's Centres work together with other agencies to provide support and advice for families. They work jointly with training providers to provide adult learning opportunities and support to enter employment, including volunteering opportunities.

Sure Start children’s centres are there to ensure all children get the best possible start in life. They are a focal point in every community where families with children  can access all the services and information they need.

A list of Cumbria Sure Start Children's Centres can be found by clicking on the pink button 'View all services in this category'
