A friendly welcome awaits you at the Millom Age UK shop.  There is always someone who has time for a chat as you browse all the items for sale.  The staff are all local volunteers and look forward to seeing their regular visitors as well as a new face every now and again.  If you live in Millom or are just visiting come in and see what they have to offer - children`s clothes and toys, ornaments, glassware and china.   They also have an impressive range of books – take a peak – something for everyone!  

Our van service can deliver items of furniture purchased in our shops direct to your home.  We also collect large bulky items you wish to donate – making it convenient and easy for you. Our house removal service is available by booking please contact our warehouse 01900 844675.

The shop is grateful for donations of items you no longer need and wish to donate.  Age UK West Cumbria is your local charity – the money raised stays in the area.  All funds raised by Age UK West Cumbria is spent on services for the elderly people of West Cumbria.

Gift aid on donations.

If you are a UK Taxpayer making a donation to one our shops then ask our staff about using gift aid to increase the value of your donations by 25%. 
All you need to do is complete a Gift Aid Donor Declaration form when you bring your unwanted goods into the shop and you will receive a unique donor ID Number. Once your stock has been sold you will receive a letter informing you of how the amount raised through your donation and with your consent we will be able to reclaim the tax from HMRC. You must have paid an annual amount of tax equal to the amount of tax being reclaimed by the charity before you can apply to be a gift aid donor.
