Lifeability Kendal is a service primarily aimed at people with a range of disabilities between the ages of 18 and 30 who want to develop more skills and potentially work towards accredited qualifications.

The service will operate out of the Riverview Centre in Kendal which will act as a hub. Some skills development will take place in a group setting and then put into practice in the wider community.

Skills development will be based on individual and group need and aspirations and include skills around using public transport, cooking, personal care, using shops and banks etc.  This will be done both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.

The service operates on a Wednesday and Thursday each week from 10am to 3pm.  You can choose to come to develop one skill over an agreed number of weeks or stay on developing more skills as you wish.

Please get in touch to discuss your personal needs and interests and start your journey to increased independence.
