A new campaign launches this week designed to raise awareness around when to use NHS 111, either on the phone or online. People can use NHS 111 to find out what to do and where to go when they have an urgent but non-life threatening medical concern. The campaign encourages people to dial 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk, instead of worrying, self-diagnosing or second-guessing what they should do when they have an urgent health problem.
This campaign also highlights the new option for people to access NHS 111 online, which is now available across most of England. NHS 111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to dialling 111 and provides an option for people who want to access NHS 111 digitally, through their smartphone, laptop or computer.
